Why to visit the Dolomites?<\/strong> The Dolomites are a mountain range in the eastern Alps, and are part of the fifty Italian sites that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The recognition area covers 141,903 hectares of territory in three regions of Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia and five provinces of Trento, Bolzano, Belluno, Udine and Pordenone and includes eighteen peaks that rise above 3,000 meters.
