For those who don’t want to pay to park on the street

If you want to save money, you can try your luck at a place a little further away. A good option is close to Milan’s central station. Although it is quite difficult to find a vacancy there, it’s not impossible! Also read: What to visit near Milan?

Tips:

  • Head onto Via Copernico or the lanes behind the station. It’s easier to find vacancies there! But don’t tell anyone I told you that!
  • Lambrate Station can also be a good option. Near the Maggiore cemetery, you can also find good parking spaces, as well as around this perimeter.

Milan also offers great and well-located private parking. Are worth? If you prefer to be more relaxed about security, it ends up being worth it because Milan is a big city, and thefts of vehicles or personal objects that may be inside cars parked on the streets are not uncommon. Doria Parking

A very well-located car park is Doria Parking. It’s next to Milan Central Station, and its location allows you to walk around the city without any difficulty. Parking costs €2.10 per hour, or €30 per day. Access is via Via Andrea Doria, 22 – the place is open 24 hours a day and offers great access to the subway lines, which makes it very easy for anyone who wants to go downtown without a car!

Parcheggio Milano Porta Nuova Garibaldi

Another very well-located car park is Parcheggio Milano Porta Nuova Garibaldi. It’s also very well located and offers affordable prices. This car park is located at 47 Viale Don Luigi Sturzo – and the maximum daily rate is 14 euros.

Parcheggio Milano Majno

A good option is also the Parcheggio Milano Majno. It’s well located, and it also belongs to the parking company mentioned above. As it’s closer to the center, the value undergoes a slight change, with a daily rate of 24 euros.

Milano Mascagni

If you’re looking for something even more central, head to Milano Mascagni. Just a 15-minute walk from the Duomo, it has a spectacular location! The cost-benefit ratio is also great: the daily rate costs 24 euros and gives you access to the main points of the city.

GOLDEN TIP
Check if your hotel has parking and if the daily rate is already included in the room price, as many of them charge the service separately.
