Critical Dates: The days in 2024 when you will have to pay the entrance fee are: April: 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30. May: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26. June: 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30. July: 6, 7, 13, and 14.
Timetable and Conditions: Tourists who visit Venice on these days, from 8:30 am to 4 pm, but are not staying in the city, must pay the fee of 5 euros for the indicated day.
Exemptions: Children under the age of 14 can enter for free upon presentation of a document, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition, those who arrive after 16:00, perhaps to spend the evening in the city, does not have to pay the contribution.
Payment and Booking: To pay, simply go to the dedicated portal of the Municipality of Venice, select the desired date, and enter your contact details (email or phone). Payments can be made by credit card or PayPal. The reservation can be cancelled up to the day before the chosen date.

To get your entrance ticket to Venice, you need to follow a few simple procedures. Here’s how it works:

Online Portal: The multi-channel and multi-language portal of the Municipality of Venice is now online. You can access it here! Here you will be able to get your QR code, which you will have to show in case of checks. This code will attest to the payment of the contribution or your exclusion/exemption condition. Remember to keep it at all times.
Registration: Even if you are part of the exempt categories, you will need to register on the Cda.ve.it portal. Once registered, you will receive your personalized QR code.
Payment and Booking: You can pay by credit card or PayPal. Also, if you’re traveling as a family or with a small group, you can make a bulk reservation.
