Our Introduction

Amalfi, one of the most beautiful towns on the Amalfi Coast, is a town that captivates visitors with its rich history, stunning landscapes, and an authenticity that transcends the ages. Today I’m going to share with you my experience as a seasoned traveler in the Amalfi region, including tips on where to eat and what to do in this seaside town.

Getting to know Amalfi in good company…

So, what to visit in Amalfi with Ana Patricia and Jake Leal?

My last trip to Amalfi, I had the honor of having a very special company, the tourism columnist and influencer Jake Leal. Jake is a specialist in luxury and adventure travel, and she came to live a unique experience in Italy with me!

Our trip went through several locations, and I got to meet Jake, truly, JAKE! Hahaha… She surprised me in so many ways, because it is very common for us to find influencers who live “out of reality”, or who let celebrity status dominate them, but Jake is Jake!

Jake is not a character or a figure set up to be successful! She’s transparent; she’s exactly what shows herself to be on social media, and being able to spend unique moments with her made my trip VERY special! And so much fun! Guys, think of a fun woman! It’s Jake!

But, without further ado, let’s know what to do in Amalfi!

Explore the Historic Center

One of the most enchanting attractions of Amalfi is, without a doubt, its historic center. The historic center of Amalfi presents itself in a charming, elegant, and delightful way, especially during the summer. With its narrow, winding streets, picturesque squares, and traditional Mediterranean architecture, I suggest you stroll through the cobblestone streets and discover local shops selling handmade products such as pottery and limoncello, a typical drink of the region.

A must-see is St. Andrew’s Cathedral (Duomo di Amalfi)

St. Andrew’s Cathedral, the Duomo of Amalfi, is an icon of the city and a stunning example of Arab-Norman architecture. It is of unparalleled beauty! Same! Its façade is imposing and the decorative details are breathtaking. Be sure to enter the Duomo and explore the interior of the cathedral, where you’ll find a rich collection of sacred art.
