During my last trip to Verona, I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Milano & SPA, right in the historic center of the city, and I want to share my wonderful experience in this charming place with an impressive view!

Our Introduction
Verona is situated in the Veneto region, in northeastern Italy, and is known for its rich history and stunning natural beauty. In addition to being the birthplace of illustrious writers such as Dante Alighieri, Verona is also famous for its impressive architectural constructions, including the iconic Arena Amphitheatre, which is the stage for world-renowned operas.
However, the city is best known for its role in Shakespeare’s famous tragedy, “Romeo and Juliet” (learn more about visiting Juliet’s House here!), the tragic romance between the two lovers is set in Verona, and tourists from all over the world visit Juliet’s house, with its famous counter, to leave love letters and messages.

When planning my trip to Verona, my search for a hotel included several options, but one thing was clear: I wanted an accommodation that would allow me to completely immerse myself in the romantic atmosphere of the city; I wanted to be in a privileged location; and that’s when I discovered the Hotel Milano & SPA, which perfectly met my criteria! Located in the heart of Verona’s historic center, the Hotel Milano & SPA stands out for its strategic position: it is located at Vicolo Tre Marchetti, number 11, that is, it is just a few steps from the main attractions of the city, including the Arena of Verona, Juliet’s House, and Piazza delle Erbe, where nightlife and dining options abound. The main reason why I chose Hotel Milano & SPA was its excellent location and its value for money. The central location of the hotel promised a convenient and authentic experience in Verona, with easy walking access to all places of interest. In addition, the presence of a spa in the hotel added a touch of “I want to stay here!” as I thought the proposal was amazing!
Arrival at the Hotel Milano & SPA
Upon arriving at the Hotel Milano & SPA, I was greeted warmly by the reception staff. The first impression was excellent, with a stylish lobby and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was professional and helpful, and the check-in was very efficient. Read also: How to get to Verona from Venice?
The Room and the Hotel View

As soon as I entered my room, I was struck by the combination of elegance and comfort as a result of the classical and sophisticated dècor, with dark wood furniture and gold accents. The bed was large and cozy, with clean, soft sheets, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring.
One of the most remarkable things about the room was the view. Yes, the view: my window opened onto a quiet and picturesque street in the historic center of Verona. It was as if I had been transported to the setting of a Renaissance painting. Verona is a city full of charm, and the view from my room was living proof of that. Going up to the terrace, another nice surprise: the view from the top is of the Verona Arena! Needless to say, it’s beautiful, right?!
The room was well-equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom was spacious and spotless, with a high-pressure shower and quality bath products.
The Spa & Amenities
One of the features that attracted me to Hotel Milano & SPA was the promise of a quality spa. And indeed, the hotel’s spa did not disappoint. After a day of sightseeing, I decided to relax and enjoy the Spa: best thing I could do, especially since it was raining, so the tour was quite fast!
Gastronomy at the Hotel Milano & SPA
One of the things I love to do during my travels is explore the local cuisine. However, I also value the convenience of having a dining option at the hotel itself, especially after a long day.
The restaurant at the Hotel Milano & SPA is excellent! Offering a menu with traditional Italian dishes and local specialties, the restaurant is charming and the service impeccable; it’s a great place to enjoy a delicious meal. I had the opportunity to taste some typical Verona dishes, such as the “Risotto all’Amarone” and “Tortellini di Valeggio”, which were simply divine.
Additionally, the restaurant offered an extensive list of local and national wines, which perfectly complemented my dining experience. The restaurant staff was also knowledgeable about the wines and offered great recommendations for pairings.

One of the biggest advantages of staying at the Hotel Milano & SPA is its central location in the heart of Verona. This allowed me to explore the city on foot, which is the best way to soak up the atmosphere and discover all the hidden treasures.
