Before starting to read this post, it is important to know that in 2017 the Italian Government BANISHED the obligation of Tessera Del Tifoso. The objective today is to fill the stadiums even more and, also in 2017, it was defined that there would be tickets for sale at the stadium box office on the day of the match.
And what is Tessera del tifoso? It is nothing more than an identification document introduced in 2009-2010 by the Italian Ministry of the Interior to identify football club fans from specific associations.
Each club is free to PRIORITIZE the sale of tickets only to associated fans, without the obligation to open sales either online or at the box office for non-members.
