Central Italy, with its five regions (Marche, Tuscany, Lazio, Umbria and Abruzzo) presents such a great variety and multiplicity that tourists are left with only the issue of choice. The most important cities are Perugia and Terni. Bordered on the north and west by Tuscany, north and east by Marche and south by Lazio. The cultural and natural beauties of this area are so great that it is almost impossible to summarize in a few lines.
