2) How to get from Fiumicino Airport to the center of Rome? SHARED TRANSFER

If you would like to have a driver, but at the same time save money, another option is the service with a Shared Transfer (Shuttle Service). There are some bus companies that run from the Airport to Termini Station and from Termini Station to the Airport. Usually these buses leave every hour and the journey time lasts 45 minutes, obviously it depends on the type of traffic that the bus will take. The average ticket price is 5 Euros per person. Some companies that make the trip are: SIT BUS, TAM BUS, SCHIAFFINI, COTRAL, TERRAVISION, Fiumicino Airport Transfer.

The advantage is that this type of transport is super cheap, but it is convenient only when there are few people, 1 or two, more than that it is advisable to take a taxi or use the Private Transfer option.

Disadvantages

The final stop is usually at Rome Central Station, Termini Station, when you get there, you must take another transport to go to the hotel, I mean, you lose a little time, and end up spending more, because the taxi in that region it is not cheap! It is also tiring to go up and down with suitcases after a long flight. Also think about the bags you are carrying. 😉

4) How to get from Fiumicino Airport to the center of Rome? TRAIN

On the train you will find speed and will not catch traffic. In general this type of transport is very economic, but it is convenient, like the bus, only when there are few people, 1 or 2 and with slight luggage. The cost is 14 Euros per person. You can take an official taxi, which will be visibly written “Comune di Roma”, with the symbol on the door and the license number.
